Moorilla Mosaic is a vibrant collection of work by the 27 writers who read during the first year of the Moorilla Cultural Series at the Moorilla Museum of Antiquities. The anthology highlights the richness and diversity of current writing by established and emerging poets and prose writers in Tasmania. All contributors are widely published, some recognised nationally and internationally, while others are at the beginning of their writing careers.
Beautifully designed by graphic artist, Lynda Warner, the cover features a detail from one of the museum’s collection of mosaics and is a tactile and visual delight.
Reviews
'All of the authors in this collection are widely published, and many have become part of the Tasmanian literary canon. This book is indicative of the variety and detail of what modern Tasmanian authors have to offer the world, with their unique but also universal vision. For anyone wanting an unusual and fresh anthology of contemporary Southern Australian writing - a sampling to savour slowly - this is a nicely put together collection.' - Review, The Compulsive Reader
'Production standards for Moorilla Mosaic are outstanding ... A full colour cover and high quality paper along with a list of contributors that includes the cream of Tasmania's writers add up to a memorable publishing feat' - Ralph Wessman, Famous Reporter vol.24
