Biography

A late starter, Mary Jenkins completed her PhD in Literature and the Environment at the age of 70. She writes essays, book reviews and now enjoys writing fiction and poetry. Her work has been published in anthologies and in Australia and overseas. Mary was proud to be a participant in the unpublished work sent to John Howard: A Hundred Poems Against War, edited by Alison Croggan. Her public readings have included: ABC Earthbeat; Republic Readings; Watermark and Two Fires Conferences.
