Biography

Anne Collins writes poetry, fiction, essays and reviews. Her first poetry collection was The Season of Chance (Walleah Press, 2005). Anne's other work has been published in literary journals in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. She has been awarded writers' grants and residencies from Arts Tasmania and the Moonah Arts Centre. She has run writer's workshops and has read her work at venues around Hobart. As well as working on new poems and stories, Anne is writing a series of lyrical essays about Tasmania and is seeking a publisher for her novel.
